Our Story
Generosity Comes in Many Forms
Skills4Cause started with a simple but powerful idea: generosity is more than money—it’s about showing up however you can.
When our founder, Roman Shteynshlyuger, experienced a personal crisis with his daughter’s beloved cat, friends and family were eager to help. But not everyone could contribute financially. Instead, they gave what they could: their time and skills. A physical therapist offered a free session. Someone else offered car washes.
That moment sparked an idea: what if there were a way for anyone to support causes they care about—not just by donating money, but by sharing their skills?
And so, Skills4Cause was born—because generosity comes in many forms, and everyone has something valuable to give.
What’s Next
We’re Just Getting Started
As global challenges grow, so does the need for creative, community-driven solutions. We saw a future where volunteers could go beyond traditional service and offer what they do best—consulting, creating, mentoring, or anything in between—to power the work of nonprofits and grassroots causes.
